I thought this was an interesting perspective on this table. I built it a number of years ago when I studied furniture and cabinetmaking. This photo, taken by my 4-1/2 year old daughter, shows a hint of the figured maple top on this table. The drawer fronts are coloured with multiple layers of aniline dye and the whole piece is finished with water based laquer.
